As per breaking inputs coming in Times Now, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman takes on GST revenues which have continued to remain buoyant despite the pandemic, with Rs 1,40, 986 Crores gross GST collections for the month of January 2022, which is the highest since the inception of GST. This has become possible due to the rapid growth in economic recovery post the covid-19 pandemic, as well as various policies and administration undertaken by Central for taxpayers.
