As per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, in light of the hijab-saffron scarf controversy currently going on in the state of Karnataka, the state district administration imposes a prohibitory order under Section 144 of CrPC in areas around all high schools in the district from Monday till February 19. This move comes in as part of a precautionary measure as the schools are reopening Monday after the holiday declared by the state government previously over similar reasons. Reportedly, this order is to stay in effect from 6 AM on February 14 to 6 PM on February 19. Under this order, any assembly of five or more members of any party won't be allowed around the school perimeter. Also, all sorts of gatherings including protests and rallies will remain banned, inciting slogans, songs & speeches are strictly prohibited. Listen in!
