As per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now from the state of Maharashtra, the forest authorities have issued an order to capture tigers entering areas around Maharashtra's Chandrapur thermal power station. The order came in after several incidents of tigers loitering around the residential areas were reported recently. The Maharashtra Minister Nitin Raut has asked the department to conduct a survey on tigers spotted near the plant. Sources suggest that some 8-9 tigers are currently present in the areas around the Chandrapur plant. Several deaths have also been caused by these incidents in the last few days.
