Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to the Hindus and Sikhs of Afghanistan who were evacuated at the time when the Taliban took over Afghanistan. This comes a day after PM Modi meets with Sikh delegations in Delhi. These crucial meetings are happening for two consecutive days now, where PM Modi can be seen having a conversation with two different groups of delegations. Yesterday, there were around 40 leaders of the Sikh community who met the Prime Minister, raised their concerns and, thanked PM for transporting Gurugranth Sahib from Afghanistan to India when the Taliban was taking over the country. Meanwhile, the opposition is calling it a poll move ahead of Punjab assembly elections that are going to start from 20th February.
