The 2022 edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament will be held in Sri Lanka between August 27 and September 11 later this year. The Asian Cricket Council announced that this year's tournament will take place in the T20 format. India won the last edition of the tournament that was played in the UAE in 2018.
