Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to install highly advanced and state of the art baggage scanners at metro stations in a phased manner. 34 new high-tech baggage scanners with commuter-friendly features have been installed at interchanging stations with high traffic. DMRC officials said that new baggage scanners have the capacity to scan 550 bags per hour .
