The minimum temperature in Delhi on Sunday settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius - four notches above normal - with the India Meteorological Department warning of "heatwave conditions" in several parts of the national capital. The forecast meanwhile predicted heavy rainfall for other parts of the country, including Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
