The 610-km Varanasi-Ranchi–Kolkata Expressway by National Highway Authority of India is a proposed 4/6 lane access-controlled highway. The expressway will connect Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Ranchi in Jharkhand, and Kolkata in West Bengal.
