Before booking chopper seats, there is a mandatory registration for the pilgrims that can be completed via 'Tourist Care Uttarakhand App' and the WhatsApp service of the state tourism development department. It was reported earlier this month that over two lakh devotees have registered themselves for the Char Dham Yatra which is slated to start next month.
