US-based Nvidia Corp on Tuesday became the first chipmaker to join the elite club as its market capitalisation hit $1 trillion-mark. Nvidia's shares rose about 25 per cent last sparking a rally in AI-related stocks and boosted other chipmakers. The rally in the Nvidia’s stocks also helped Philadelphia SE Semiconductor index to close on Friday at its highest in over a year.
