A man from Maharashtra's Raigad district, was arrested for stealing silver idols from a temple in Alibag taluka to repay a debt. The 38-year-old had borrowed INR 1.4 lakhs for his wedding and business but couldn't pay it back. Chaynakhwa had stolen the idols to sell them for INR 1.6 lakh. According to police, all the idols have been recovered.
