An active shooter situation is unfolding at the Blackstone building, 345 Park Avenue near East 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. A suspect armed with an assault rifle has reportedly shot at least one person, possibly a police officer. NYPD has locked down the area, with about 100 people sheltering in place.
