Around 6.13 am, police received a call from a businessman (29) who alleged that two bike-borne assailants confronted him and threatened him with a pistol, while other pedestrians near the sports complex begged for assistance. The robbers allegedly demanded his gold bracelet, which he removed and handed over to them, after which the men escaped on their bike.
