As petrol and diesel prices rose for the 12th time in two weeks (a total hike of Rs 8.40 per litre), the Central government has faced heavy criticism from Opposition leaders. Opposition MPs, including those from the Congress, TMC and Shiv Sena, on Monday walked out of the Lok Sabha protesting against fuel price hike.
