Renault Duster 2026 Launch Live Updates: The all-new Renault Duster will be launched in India today, marking the return of one of the country’s most recognisable midsize SUVs. Once launched, the Renault Duster will compete in India’s midsize SUV segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
Expected Price
The 2026 Renault Duster is expected to be priced from roughly Rs 9 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, though higher trims could reach the mid-Rs 10 lakh range depending on features and engine options. Pricing will play a key role because the midsize SUV segment is highly competitive in India.
Design
The Duster adopts a more upright and rugged SUV design compared with the earlier model. It features squared wheel arches, prominent body cladding and a bold front fascia with LED lighting elements. These changes aim to strengthen its road presence while retaining the recognisable Duster identity.
Powertrain
The new Renault Duster will be offered with two petrol engine choices: a 1.0-litre turbocharged unit and a larger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine. Buyers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual, CVT or six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Later in the year, around the festive season, Renault will introduce a 1.8-litre turbo-petrol hybrid variant that will be available only with an automatic gearbox.
