The gold prices across major Indian cities for different purity levels are as follows:
In Chennai, gold is priced at Rs 15,263 for 24K, Rs 13,991 for 22K, and Rs 11,671 for 18K. Mumbai records Rs 15,065 for 24K, Rs 13,809 for 22K, and Rs 11,298 for 18K, while in Delhi, prices stand at Rs 15,080 for 24K, Rs 13,824 for 22K, and Rs 11,313 for 18K. Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, and Pune all report similar rates, with 24K gold at Rs 15,065, 22K at Rs 13,809, and 18K at Rs 11,298. In Vadodara and Ahmedabad, the price of 24K gold is slightly higher at Rs 15,070, with 22K gold at Rs 13,814 and 18K gold at Rs 11,303. Overall, prices remain largely uniform across cities with only minor variations.
Spot gold remained largely unchanged at $4,646.69 per ounce by 0100 GMT, while US gold futures for June delivery slipped 0.2% to $4,674.40.
