CBSE 12th Board Result 2026 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE class 12th board result on May 13. The results were declared at 1:30 pm on Wednesday. This year, the overall pass percentage in the CBSE Class 12 examinations stood at 85.20%, marking a decline of 3.19 percentage points compared to last year. A total of 18,57,517 students had registered for the exams, of whom 17,68,968 successfully passed.
Among districts, Trivandrum emerged as the best-performing region with an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.62%.
In the gender-wise performance, girls once again outperformed boys by 6.73 percentage points. The pass percentage for girls stood at 88.86% in 2026, compared to 91.64% in 2025, while boys recorded 82.13% this year against 85.70% last year. Transgender candidates maintained a 100% pass percentage, the same as in 2025.
