Karuppu Box Office And Worldwide Collection Live Update Today (Day 4): Suriya and Trisha Krishnan's Karuppu arrived in theatres on May 15. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film was originally scheduled for a big-screen release on May 14. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the movie's release was delayed by a day. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the action drama locked horns with Pati Patni Aur Woh Do at the box office. Despite a clash, the film has managed to earn well at the ticket window. In just three days of theatrical run, the movie has raced past the Rs 60 crore mark in India.

The star cast of RJ Balaji's Karuppu features Suriya as Karuppuswamy, Saravanan, and Trisha as lawyer Preethi. Singer Chinmayi Sripada has dubbed for the actress in Karuppu. Besides the lead star cast, RJ Balaji plays the role of antagonist Baby Kannan. Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Supreeth Reddy, Deepa Shankar, Lollu Sabha Maaran, and others are an integral part of the movie.

Meanwhile, Karuppu registered a good box office opening of Rs 15.5 crore with 4,891 shows. Later, on day two, the film minted Rs 24.15 crore, followed by Rs 28.35 crore in India. The film is now all set to cross the Rs 70 crore mark at the domestic box office.
