NEET Exam Date 2026 LIVE: Following a reported paper leak, which prompted the authorities to cancel the NEET UG 2026 examination on May 12, candidates have been asking the authorities to announce the re-examination schedule. In the official notification, NTA apprised the medical aspirants that a fresh schedule will be notified separately.
Ever since NTA scrapped the NEET UG 2026 examination, both NTA and the Government of India have been facing public backlash for failing to conduct India’s largest medical examination seamlessly. As of now, the CBI is investigating the matter closely, while the Education Minister, along with other officials, is deliberating on a foolproof plan for conducting a re-exam.

- The Rouse Avenue Court has granted seven days' custody of the five accused arrested in the NEET UG paper leak case. The CBI produced the accused, Mangilal Biwal, Dinesh Biwal, Vikas Biwal, Shubham Khairnar, and Yash Yadav, before the court.
