Tamil Nadu Assembly Election Result 2026 Live: Counting of votes for 234 assembly seats in the southern state began at 8 am today (May 4). Tamil Nadu witnessed a three-cornered contest between the DMK, the AIADMK, and actor-turned-politician Joseph Vijay's TVK. The polls were held in a single phase on April 23. Most of the exit polls predicted a majority for the DMK. However, JVC Exit Polls, the DMK-led alliance is expected to get 75-95 seats, while the NDA is predicted to get 128-147 seats. Joseph Vijay's TVK may bag 8-15 seats.
