Tamil Nadu’s government formation drama has intensified with Vijay-led TVK facing fresh controversy over its claimed majority support. While Congress, CPI and CPI(M) have extended support to Vijay, TVK currently has the backing of 116 MLAs, just short of the 117 majority mark. The situation turns critical as Vijay is expected to vacate one of the two seats he contested, reducing the effective strength of the House to 233. Amid this, AMMK chief TTV Dhinakaran has accused TVK of using a forged support letter from lone AMMK MLA Kamaraj. Dhinakaran has moved both the police and the Governor, alleging that no such letter was signed by his MLA and claiming the document submitted by TVK was fabricated. The development comes as Vijay pushes for government formation in Tamil Nadu.#timesnow #englishnews #vijay #tvk #dhinakaran #tamilnadu #dmk #congress #cpim #cpi
